Sretno Valentinovo svima!
Happy Valentines day!
I'm finally showing you photos from my Venice trip. It was rainy just like today. I was suprised by the size of the city, and amazed with it streets and arhitecture. The city on water! That's amazing, right?
We arrived by train from Mestre to Venice, as soon as you exit the station you arrive at the Grand Canal, which is the largest canal in Venice and it takes place most of the public transport. It starts from the Square Santa Lucia and leads to St. Mark's Square. Along the canal there are beautiful palaces and luxury hotels. Many of them we have seen on the boat ride on the way back, which I certainly recommend (especially when time does not allow a gondola ride) to get a better impression of the city.
At St. Mark's Square is the namesake magnificent Basilica and Ducale Palace. But Venice is best known for its bridges, most notably the Bridge of Sighs and the Rialto Bridge.
